GINGER

Ginger came to us from a puppymill surrender that occured at the end of March 03. We got her in our foster care at the end of May. She was a very fearful little dog but with her foster parents tender loving care, she turned out to be a wonderful little dog. She is now loved and adored by June in the Okanagan.

Gypsy

Gypsy the TV watching Cocker was turned in by her owner who was leaving for Europe to live..from Arizona via Washington state. She came to us in June 2002 and is now living the life of luxury in Vancouver with Bobbie.
She is the ONLY cocker who, when adopted, went with her own set of Videos of Animal Planet...her favourite was Steve..the Croc Hunter!!!

Honey came to us on May 3/03. She stayed in foster care for 3 months as she was a mess (see Home page). It didn't take her long to find a spot in ALL of our hearts. Everywhere we took her people fell in love with her. What a personality! She is now VERY much loved by Claudia and David who take her for many walks in the park...which she loves.

Hobo

Hobo was surrendered to the Maple Ridge SPCA August 2002.
The inexperienced owner bought him then, instead of sending him to us, dumped him at the SPCA as Hobo tried to bite her child.

Hobo is a great little dog in all ways, except he hates kids.
He is now in the wonderful  home of Peter and Terry and a little cocker sister.

Jacob (Jake)

Jake was a scared 7 month old puppy when we got him, his mother and littermate brother up from a shelter in Oregon. He was part of a BYB raid and was born in the shelter. He only had his brother and mother for company.

He was fostered for a period of time for rehabilitation as he had not been away from Mum Becky and bro Simon ever.
He is now in a wonderful home with Robin.

Jodie was surrendered to us to one of our foster homes. She was adopted in Sept 01 by Valerie and her mother Joyce.

Jordy- one month later
jordy.jpg

Jordy...was named Jordy by a volunteer at the Surrey SPCA. He was a favourite there. He was found wandering and no one claimed this boy.

He needed to come into rescue for a bit of "fine tuning" on his manners. Jordy is now the sweetest mushiest boy around. A typical red buff boy...mooshie love bug!
He is now in the loving home of Shirley and Alex. He is lucky to have a cocker sister and a min pin brother to play with.
